Saturday 30th April 2pm: Thai Kitchen 2 Here is the second Thai cooking lesson with a tempting menu!! This time we will see the pasta dishes of this wonderful country. Each student will bring two dishes (pillow thai and lining see eggs) and leave with them and we will see three recipes together in the master class: wan dam sauce, also kao tang nah tang (fried rice dumplings with satay sauce) and the famous dessert: mango sticky rice! Sunday May 8 at 2 PM: Thai Kitchen 1! Afternoon in the kitchen to discover the main ingredients of Thai cuisine. We will make green curry paste together from the freshest ingredients. Then you both make green curry with Thai chicken and eggplant, irresistible chicken with cashews and see the making of tom kah gai, the famous coconut milk soup. Register here!
Saturday May 21 at 2pm: Pancakes and Queen Aman! This workshop, under the motto of Brittany, will be enriched with semi-salted butter!! Together we will see how to make the famous puff pastry with butter and sugar, Queen Aman. The first time with me, then everyone will make a little Queen Man. I will then show the subtle gestures to learn how to flip the pancakes onto a small plate, and then each student will make their own wheat pancakes. A gourmet break with cider will be essential to savor the pancakes and a good portion of the kouign amann! You will leave with your cake and all the pancakes! This course is limited to 6 students. Sunday, May 22 at 2pm: Folly Tartlets Workshop! This pastry course will allow you to make delicious sweet dough with almonds and hazelnuts, then master the art of sinking to make amazing pies worthy of the professionals. We make the sweet dough by sandblasting, then everyone makes 6 small cakes and leave with them. In the program, two different tartlets: chocolate, praline, cocoa, walnut and honey tartlet. We will do it on chocolate, lacquer that gives an incredible visual result. Register here!
Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October: Atelier Folie Chocolat! This two-day course is unique in France. We’ll actually see production from pill to tablet. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate will be made directly and directly together. We will be making Nutella, a homemade praline, but we will also learn more about cocoa butter and its smoothing. We will start this Saturday morning course on hot chocolate and learn all the secrets of chocolate: roasting, crushing, winnowing, heating … My book “Make Homemade Chocolate” published by Solar, prepared by Christophe Michalak, will also be available to you. The workshop is located in Les Lilas, a 4-minute walk from the “Mairie des Lilas” metro station on line 11 (15 minutes door-to-door from République).
In this new adventure, the partners followed me and allowed me to realize this dream I had. KitchenAid was the first to provide me with all the necessary equipment. So we will work with gas, hood, steam oven, Twelix oven, microwave oven, robots, pots, and pans.
The place is up from September, the permanent KitchenAid showroom in France!
If you are a blogger and dream of giving lessons to your readers, I rent the workshop at a preferential rate for blogging. All equipment is available (an empty fridge/freezer meant for workshops) and you can accommodate your students (up to 10 or 12 depending on what you do as a course) in the 100 square meter space.
